The fruit is perfectly ripe and ready for baking just as the holidays approach, and it is THE pie to have on hand for Thanksgiving. Our pumpkin custard blankets our delicate crust and sets up perfectly to be dressed in a dollop of coconut whipped cream or non-dairy vanilla ice cream.
