DISHWASHER TEAM MEMBER

We are looking for a motivated, professional and friendly person to fill our need for a Part-time, Weekend Dishwasher.
Our dedicated gluten-free bakery is expanding to offer dine in Pizza Nights on Fridays and Saturdays and we need help with dishwashing, bussing and end of shift cleaning duties for evening shifts from 3:30pm-8:30pm. We also have an opening on Sundays during the day shift, 8:30am-3:00pm.
We offer a respectful, professional work environment, employee discounts and a safety shoe reimbursement program.

Dishwashing: Washing and sanitizing dishes, both by hand and by operating the dishwashing machine, putting away clean dishes, following safety protocols in the kitchen 
General Cleaning: Cleaning tasks in kitchen and throughout the dining area, performing proper sanitation practices
Other RequirementsStaff member must have a valid food handlers card, maintain proper food safety guidelines, abide by the expectations outlined in the New Cascadia Traditional staff handbook which includes maintaining a professional and civil workplace, ability to lift 20 lbs, repetitive activities can easily be performed. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Verification of Covid-19 vaccination.

EXPO/PACKAGING (full time & part time)

After the bread is baked, it's gotta be packaged and orders prepped for the next day's delivery. Our expo team is the crew that gets it done. Daily duties include, but are not limited to slicing and bagging bread, sorting breads for distribution, revising invoices, and evening cleanup. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:

  • Dependable and punctual in attendance.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Committed to efficiency and excellence.
  • Courteous and professional attitude.
  • Have reliable transportation/means to get to and from our facility.
  • In possession of current Oregon Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Maintain proper food safety guidelines.

BAKER (full time)
Want to broaden your baking skills and be part of the team crafting the world's greatest gluten-free bread? Our production baking team is looking for you. This position involves all aspects of crafting our entire family of breads. Our baking team also assists our expediting/packaging team with prepping our products for delivery. At the end of the day all team members take part in daily cleaning of our production space and ready themselves for the next days' production. If this sounds like your kind of fun, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional  baking experience.
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible in attendance.
  • A positive attitude in a busy production atmosphere.
  • Ability to work in a close knit group environment.
  • Ability to receive instruction, constructive feedback, and open team-oriented communication.
  • Ability to follow and trust established recipes and techniques.
  • Comfortable with repetitive motion work and standing for long periods of time.
  • Dedication to high standards of quality, cleanliness, efficiency.
  • Able lift up to 50 lbs.
  • In possession of current Oregon Food Handler Certification.
